Reading entertains, informs, and enlightens. Reading shapes and refines how and what we write, how and what we think, and expands our understanding of the world.

The purpose of this collection is provide students looking for a "good read" outside their class assignments. Included are classic and contemporary works of fiction and non-fiction. UHH faculty members list their favorite titles, and tell you how and why they were inspired and/or moved by them.
