IntraSystem Loan (ISL) is for requesting books,
journal articles, audiovisual materials, and microforms from other libraries within the UH system. To request an ISL, please review the steps at Intrasystem Loan Request Instructions before going online to Hawai'i Voyager to make your request.
The last day to submit ISL requests for both students and faculty is Tuesday, December 1.
The library will be closed December 19 - January 3. |
- You will be notified in approximately 5 - 15 days.
- Audiovisual materials from Sinclair must be requested at least two weeks prior to the date needed.
- Charges and fees may apply:
- Charges apply to some items requested (see below).
- Fines apply to items requested but not picked up.
- Fines will be added to request charges (when applicable), i.e., a student who doesn’t pick up a requested A/V item will be charged $6.00 total.
- Borrowers are responsible for fees charged by the lending library for overdue, lost, or damaged items.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is for requesting books or
journal articles not
available at any of the libraries in the UH System.
The last day to submit ILL requests for both students and faculty is Wednesday, November 18.
The library will be closed December 19 - January 3. |
- Audiovisual materials and microforms are not available.
- You may request an ILL online or submit request forms to the Reference or Circulation Desks.
- Requests may take three to five weeks, although some do arrive sooner.
- Charges and fees may apply:
- Charges apply to some items requested (see below).
- Fines apply to items requested but not picked up.
- Fines will be added to request charges (when applicable), i.e., an undergraduate student in a course below the 300 level who doesn’t pick up a requested ILL item will be charged $6.00 total.
