Librarians at Mookini Library act as subject liaisons to University of Hawai‘i at Hilo and Hawai‘i Community College academic departments. In addition to developing and maintaining resources in subject areas, subject liaisons also:

• provide individual research assistance
• conduct library instruction sessions
• welcome suggestions to improve collections and library services
