LIBRARY SUPPORT FOR DISTANCE LEARNING |
|
|
Distance Learning for the UH System is managed by CDC (a UH System Committee comprised of the Campus Distance Coordinator at each campus). The UH Library Council has a representative on the CDC. The UH System supports Distance Learning Courses. Hybrid Distance Learning Courses that require a combination of face-to-face instruction, hands-on experience or lab equipment need to be evaluated by the CDC before being offered. If a Hybrid Distance Learning Course is approved, the CDC is responsible for coordinating any special requests needed to support the course (for example lab equipment and slides). The Mookini Library provides support for library materials and resources associated with Distance Learning Courses. The Mookini Library cannot provide assistance and support for lab equipment and other non-traditional library resources needed to support a Hybrid Distance Learning Course. Requests for assistance and support for non-traditional library resources for Distance Learning Courses will be forwarded to the CDC for coordination. Please also see our information about available Distance Learning Services.
