Now that you know more about websites, here's a BIG tip...

The library's homepage is an excellent place to begin looking for scholarly resources.

Besides finding the call numbers for books in the library, there are links to many academic online resources, such as journal article databases and indexes, full-text magazines, newspapers, scholarly journals, electronic books, and other hand-picked Internet resources that have been reviewed by scholars and published by reputable publishers.

Most of these resources are NOT FREE, so they will not be retrieved by, or accessible from, Google or other search engines.

And, as a UH student, you can use these resources from ANYWHERE with Internet access. When you are off-campus, you will be required to input your UH ID number and last name -- it's that easy!
