Plagiarism

Many students think that because of the Internet, it's easier than ever to copy a paper and hand it in as their own work.

That may be true, but it's also easier than ever for instructors to detect these copies.

Plagiarism is a serious offense - don't risk it!

The University of Hawaii at Hilo Student Code of Conduct (Word document) covers plagiarism on page four, under the heading "Academic Dishonesty".
